Solari di Udine has provided the time devices for the creation of the new Santorso hospital facility, that will offer the services previously provided the Schio and Thiene hospitals.
In this new hospital, the operating rooms have been equipped with state-of-the-art tools, adopting the most modern technologies available on the market. This has been done by consulting companies that are specialized in providing all-inclusive operating rooms.
The collaboration of Solari was requested as well to provide the operating rooms with the new CDL 7060 NTP clock.
One clock was provided for each operating room, for total of 13 devices. They were installed in independent mode and integrated within a steel housing on a vertical wall and protected by frontal shatterproof glass panel.
Originally, the hospital requested classic analog clocks, but, by comparison, the digital clocks actually installed, with their automatic handling of daylight savings time, proved to be a better solution since they avoided periodic maintenance for changing the time.
Other advantages of the CDL consist in how it is powered. This has simplified and reduced costs of installation and allowed the possibility of remotely accessing the device for any necessary configurations, without the need to physically enter areas with limited and controlled access, as operating rooms generally are.
Similar solutions have been used by other health facilities across the country, such as the Careggi Hospital of Firenze, the United Hospitals of Foggia, the Hospital of Udine and the Polyclinic of Mestre.
